My Education

I originally entered college to pursue a liberal arts degree and eventually decided to major in psychology. While in college, I was looking for a career in which I could combine my interest in behavioral science with my love for helping people. After my transformational personal experience with being under care, Chiropractic seemed the natural choice. I was one class away from completing my Bachelors degree in Psychology at S.U.N.Y. at New Paltz, I choose to pursue doctor of chiropractic degree instead. After my undergraduate studies and working for ten years as a mental health counselor, I completed four additional years of chiropractic training at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1992. I began private practice the following year.

While is school I have the great privilege to rub elbows with famed chiropractic legends as Dr. Fred Barge, Dr. Clay Thompson, Galen Price, Dr. Vern Pierce, Dr. Pettibon and the multitude of teachers and mentors who were instrumental in forcing me to examine my personal views of health and life.

I became a member of Delta Sigma Chi a chiropractic fraternity where I had the privilege and opportunity to meet and learn from alumni doctors during their visits to our fraternity mansion. The experiences these legends shared with me lit a fiery passion that still burns as brightly in me as the day I set foot at Palmer College.

Dr. Dennis Asks some important questions of interest to Malvern residents - Chiropractor Malvern Dr. Dennis Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
Is chiropractic safe?
What do you consider safe? Chiropractic care is safer than driving your car on the streets of Malvern, getting back surgery, taking aspirin and even safer than taking a shower in your own home! Compared with things we accept as safe, chiropractic care is even safer. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
